Chocolate Peanut Butter Granola Milkshake are creamy and delicious! Milkshakes never tasted so good!!
I remember spending a week every summer with my grandparents. The best part of every day was my grandpa’s chocolate malts. He makes the best malts! Grandma and I used to sit and wait patiently every night while he threw everything into the blender. Inside we were jumping up and down counting down the minutes until we could get his malts in our belly. They are that good.
I’ve been craving his malts this whole summer and knew that I needed to make something this last weekend. We had an excessive heat warning in Palm Springs, so milkshakes were screaming to me.
While shopping at Wal-Mart last week I saw these Quaker Chewy Bars Variety Pack and knew that I needed to add these to the milkshake. These Chewy Bars offer such a great crunchy texture to the milkshake and make the milkshake so much tastier!
Wal-Mart has all sorts of Quaker items that the family love. I grabbed the variety pack of Chewy Bars, the Fruit & Cream Instant Oatmeal and Cap’n Crunch Original Cereal. You can find more Quaker products here. Check it out and see what your family will love.
The kids loved everything and have been munching on the goodies since I brought them home. My hubby loves making the instant oatmeal for breakfast before work every morning too. You know what they say, “Happy family, happy life”. Well maybe not exactly that, but I like the saying. Don’t you?
Back to the Chocolate Peanut Butter Granola Milkshake. Not only is the milkshake good, it’s easy to throw together. It has a nice crunchy smooth texture and screams drink me! The kids loved the flavors and you’ll be happy that you made it.

Grandpa’s chocolate malts sound like the best! These milkshakes sound pretty good also. Love the idea of adding granola to them. And chocolate peanut butter is the best flavor choice. YUM!
Thank you Jen!
Granparents make the best treats! My Grandma used to work at a malt shop when she was a teenager, so she always had great ice cream scooping skills! 🙂 I eat quaker granola bars all the time! I love the looks of this shake, Cyndi! SO creative to use granola bars in it!
Thank you Gayle! 🙂

I haven’t had a good milkshake in AGES (I seem to be stuck on ice cream floats for some reason). This looks delicious, and I never would have thought to put granola on top!
Let’s switch Denise? You make the floats and I’ll make the malts. Thanks!! 🙂
These are just so fun Cyndi! And I’m going to go ahead and call them breakfast 🙂 It’s the weekend, right??
