Tropical Slushie
Summer is fast approaching which means BBQ’s, pool parties and cool refreshing drinks. This Tropical Slushie needs to be on your menu! A refreshing and tropical drink filled with delicious fruits and SunnyD.
Can you believe that summer is almost here? Well it doesn’t actually start until June 21, but here in Palm Springs it’s already feeling like summer. Yesterday was 105 outside. I don’t even think Spring showed it gorgeous face this year. Since the heat is here, we’re outside BBQing, slip and sliding and jumping in the trampoline. Anything to cool off and enjoy being outside. I love these type of days and I love being with the family.
While I was shopping at my local Sam’s Club last week I was browsing around the refrigerator section and came across the 24 pack of SunnyD. These SunnyD’s were on rollback for $5.38, which is an awesome price for a pack of 24.
My daughter loves SunnyD and we decided to have a BBQ this past weekend, so I thought I would make some sort of refreshing ice-y drink to sip on while we have some fun in the sun. I wanted to surprise my daughter, (who is the picky eater of the family), with these SunnyD’s and thought why not use her favorite drink to make a nice cold drink. 🙂
This Tropical Slushie is super easy to throw together and taste amazingly delicious. You know those days you come home from being out all day and are hot and in need of something refreshing? Then this drink is your tropical dream come true. The frozen mangos, peaches and pineapple add such a sweet and tangy flavor. Then the added SunnyD is the perfect campion to the frozen fruits. It makes this drink a must have for your summer fun!

Not super warm here yet, I just about froze watching my son play soccer last night! But I’m always up for slushy drinks and this one looks great!
Wanna switch Stacey? I wish I was cold, hehe. It’s hard to sit and watch soccer when its so cold out. 🙂 Couple more weeks then hopefully you’ll have sunny warm days. Thank you!
